This was a bunting/finch thing which flew high over my local patch (near Paris) on 3rd september 2010 - clearly in active migration. I feel it's something special and it's been suggested it might be Ortolan, but we need an expert opinion. Bad recording i'm afraid - have to whack the volume up.
